Kuriositeettikabi.net hakee artikkeleita syksyn numeroon, jonka deadline on 1.11.2017. Seuraavan numeron teema on Suomi +/-100.
Suomi juhlii tänä vuonna sataa itsenäisyyden vuotta. Näihin vuosiin on mahtunut myllerrystä myös Suomen museokentällä. Haluamme kuitenkin suunnata katseet myös tulevaisuuteen, eli mihin suuntaan suomalaiset museot tulevat kehittymään seuraavan vuosisadan aikana. Lisäksi kaikki arviot museonäyttelyistä ja –vierailuista ovat enemmän kuin tervetulleita!
Kuriositeettikabi.net on Turun yliopiston museologian ainejärjestön, Museion ry:n, ylläpitämä verkkolehti, joka käsittelee kaikkea museomaailmaan liittyvää. Kuka tahansa on tervetullut kirjoittamaan lehteen! Kirjoittaa voi sekä suomeksi että englanniksi.
Teema on suuntaa-antava, ja aiheita myös teeman ulkopuolelta voi tarjota. Esimerkkejä lehteen sopivista kirjoituksista ovat arvostelut erilaisista museoista ja näyttelyistä, kirjoitukset esimerkiksi työharjoittelun aikana opituista ja koetuista asioista sekä lyhennelmät tieteellisistä artikkeleista tai kannanotot museoalan ajankohtaisiin aiheisiin.
Lehden suunnittelun kannalta toivomme, että artikkelien aiheista kerrotaan toimitukselle etukäteen.

Fall is here and it’s time to come back from summer holidays. Kuriositeettikabi.net is calling for papers for the fall number.
The deadline for the next issue is 1st of November 2017 and the theme is Finland +/-100.
This year Finland is celebrating a century of independence. This century has had its turmoils also in the Finnish museum field. We would also like to gaze into the future; how will the next century shape the museums in Finland? All museum reviews are also welcome!
Kuriositeettikabi.net is an online publication regarding museum studies and all museum related topics. It is run by Museion ry, the student association of museology in University of Turku and in Åbo Akademi. Anyone who is interested in museums is welcome to write an article for the issue. You can write it in both English or in Finnish.
Theme for the issue is only a guideline and you’re more than welcome to offer articles outside of the theme. For example articles that fit into the issue are reviews of different museums and exhibitions; stories about what have you learned and experienced during time spent in training in a museum as well as summaries of scientific articles or for example writing a comment and taking a stand in one current hot topic that is being discussed in the field.
We wish that the writers will be in contact with us beforehand and inform us what they are going to write about as it helps with the planning of the next issue.
