Paid PhD position at the University of Amsterdam, in the project ”The Sound of Disagreement. Embodied Histories of Political Speech 1800-present”, led by prof. dr. Josephine Hoegaerts.
The position is fully funded for 4 years, during which the successful candidate will develop their own case-study regarding labour unions, protest and the sonic history of political speech. Applications are welcome from scholars who are able to study Danish, Finnish, Norwegian or Swedish 20th century history.
