Artikkeli käsittelee venäjänkielisten aikuisten (n=8 412) suomen kielen puhumisen taitoa ja siinä tapahtuneita muutoksia vuosina 2012–2021 kansallisen kielitutkintojärjestelmän, Yleisten kielitutkintojen, rekisteriaineiston avulla. Rekisteriaineiston mukaan venäjänkielisten suomen kielen puhumisen taito on heikentynyt, mihin etsimme selityksiä peilaamalla tuloksia venäjänkielisten taustamuuttujiin. Tulokset osoittavat, että puhumisen taito oli yhteydessä venäjänkielisten taustamuuttujiin. Miehet olivat puhumisen taidossa jonkin verran naisia heikompia.…
